You could call Moonshine Vagabonds an indie supergroup. It would be more accurate and fair to call it a merger of two like-minded artists.
Megan Pennington (with her band Moonshine Jasmine) and Craig Veltri have been writing and touring the country before meeting in their native Pittsburgh in 2021.
Five years, many miles, and heartbreaks later, the two friends came together to help work out each others trauma through songwriting.
Their first offering, “Inside The Cabin” is a decidedly heavier tone for both Megan and Craig. The lyrics are pointed and their voices blend together to signify how formidable this duo intends to be.
“Inside The Cabin” is the title track of their debut
album produced by Dallas Jack of Nashville-based Spade Creative. The full album is available now on streaming through Scarfire Records, a new division of Scarfire Media, LLC founded by Megan Pennington.
